What Is Drum Healing?
Drum healing, also known as drum therapy or rhythmic medicine, harnesses the primal energy of drumming to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. In one to one sessions I use various tools alongside my drums such as the rattle, bell and spirit feathers, these ancient tools cleanse, clear and shift patterns of tightness & holding and promote the natural & abundant flow of energy & vitality. This unique experience can restore a sense of wellbeing, clarity and heart centred grounding.
I'm trained through the College of sound healing in the course designed through Steven Ash, Grandson of Wallace Black Elk. I'm also a fully qualified Shiatsu therapist ad Reiki Master with 20 years of experience in physical, energetic and sound work.

How I make my drums
Here at WIse Wolf Drums I do things a little differntly when birthing drums. Over the years of using drums I've found them to be a little temperemental here in te UK, very easily affected by humidity so they loose their song when the air is damp, especially in lighter hides such as Goat or some deer types. In my quest to tighten drums I stumbled across an amzing book of different types of shamanic drums and had looked into northern European styles as well and found that not all drums are laced but many are stitched to the hoop creating a more stable drum face in damper climates. After some experimenting with this type of construction I feel like I have drums that really hold their voices well (they do still go flat in really humid weather as to be expected from a natural product, but a gentle warm and they are back singing again!) and are highly resonant when used. I love my drums to really ring when played especially when do drum healing, I find I and the drum tune in and respond to a persons energy field with great sensitivity when hey sound this way.
All my drums are repairable, unless the hide is split or the hoop damaged I can strip them down and restitch or replace handles etc so you can buy them knowing you can repair them. If its a build failiure I'll repair them for free, but all binding materials are knotted onto the hoop and then glued for extra stability and I havent't yet had any issues.
